Ikkanbari
Ikkanbari is a traditional Japanese handicraft.
It is pasted with many layers of washi paper on bamboo frames then coated with persimmon tannin(Kakishibu).
Until Plastic was introduced, persimmon juice was used
in many ways such as vessels or base for lacquering.
Ikkanbari products are very strong and durable. Kakishibu has water proof and antiseptic effects.
