From Kiso, Nagano

The Kisoji was an old trade route in the Kiso Valley from Nagano to Gifu prefecture.  Kiso lacquer ware started about 600 years ago in Hirasawa which is one of the stations in the kisoji route.
Kiso lacquer ware has a beautiful color and original gloss.
